Rob Machado joined Kahu Malama Nurses in 2014 as Operations Manager. In 2017, he was named Executive Director and in 2019 Director of Recruiting and Operations. In his current role, he oversees and provides direction to the company’s Administrative, Human Resources, Accounting and Staffing teams. He is also involved in client relations, IT support and all other operations matters.

Rob has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Broadcasting from Georgia State University. Prior to joining Kahu Malama Nurses, he worked at television stations in cities across the country including Miami, Tampa, St. Louis and Honolulu. His work earned him regional and national recognition including two Emmy Awards.

His community service includes volunteering and providing foster homes for several animal rescue groups including Arizona Weimaraner Rescue in Phoenix and Duffy’s Friends in New York.
