Lisa Truong Kracher, MBA
Lisa brings nearly 20 years of business development, process excellence, customer service, and sales experience to Staffing Solutions of Hawaii (SSOH) and Kahu Malama Nurses (KMN). With her unparalleled passion for improving business operations and ability to develop an energized, customer-focused team, Lisa is considered a fearless leader at SSOH and KMN.
Since 2009, she has upheld Staffing Solutions of Hawaii’s 27 year history as the leading locally owned staffing firm in Hawaii by training her team to exceed client’s expectations with utmost integrity and work ethics. She is actively involved in the day-to-day recruiting, human resource and accounting operations and process improvements of both companies and feels a personal connection with every team member, job seeker, and client she comes into contact with.
On July 29, 2019, Lisa acquired Kahu Malama Nurses, Inc., Hawaii’s Joint Commission certified leader in health care staffing and travel nursing for over 37 years. She has always had a passion for health care and now is able to offer professional office as well as health care staffing services throughout the state of Hawaii as well as to the mainland for commercial, state and federal organizations.
Lisa leads by example and is a dedicated advocate for women, young professionals and giving back to the community through her expert knowledge and skills. In 2012, Lisa was recognized as one of Pacific Business News’ Forty Under 40 which honors up-and-coming business leaders in the area. She received the Small Business Association Women in Business Champion of the Year award in 2014 and has joined the ranks of Pacific Business News’ Top 25 Women Owned Businesses three years in a row (2012 – 2014). In 2019, Lisa was elected a finalist for Pacific Edge Magazine’s Business Achievement Awards in the Business Woman of the Year category and was elected an honoree for the Pacific Business News Business Leadership Hawaii awards in the Small Business category. SSOH and KMN is certified as a Small Business Administration (SBA) 8(a) firm, Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB), and Economically Disadvantaged Women-Owned Small Business (EDWOSB).
An active member of Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) Hawaii, Lisa was on the Board of Directors from 2011 – 2016. She returned in 2019, and serves as the Chair on the Executive Professionalscommittee. She served on the YWCA Advisory Board for the Patsy T. Mink Center for Business & Leadership from 2014 – 2016. Lisa is currently a partner with the YWCA Dress for Success and RISE! (formerly Going Places Network) programs and serves on the Vietnamese Professionals of Hawaii Board of Directors.
Lisa’s credentials include a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration (MBA) with an emphasis on Health Care Management (HCM). Her spare time is devoted her family, going to the beach, working out, traveling, fine dining and shopping.”
