Hawaiʻi Gas welcomes Nicolas Rodier as its new Executive Director of Clean Energy and Innovation. Rodier will be responsible for overseeing the company’s diverse sustainability initiatives, reducing Hawaiʻi Gas’ carbon footprint and dependence on external fuel shipments. He will oversee the company’s intended shift toward almost entirely renewable gas, including the 2023 request for proposals (RFP) to increase hydrogen and renewable natural gas (RNG) from local sources.

Rodier has 27 years of experience with domestic and international gas, solar, wind and thermal energy companies. He holds a bachelor’s from Brown University and an MBA from Columbia University.
