‘Ōlelo Community Media is pleased to announce the addition of Melanie Salvador as finance and risk management director.

In this role, Ms. Salvador is responsible for all accounting and finance activities. She has over 35 years of experience with capital budgets, forecasting, audits, risk management, finance and human resources.

Ms. Salvador served most recently as the financial director at IBEW Local Union 1260. Other previous positions include risk management administrator, senior treasurer specialist and capital budgets analyst at HECO, as well as vice president/director of the Hawai‘i Chapter of the Risk and Insurance Management Society.
