Ayako Ide Ancheta began her successful real estate career serving both English and Japanese speaking clients when she moved to Hawaii in 2006. She was born in Kamakura, Japan, but spent eight years being educated in Oregon. Driven by a passion for the ocean and surfing, Ayako became a professional bodyboarder during her first year at Ritsumeikan University, where she acquired her Bachelors Degree in Psychology. She was selected to compete in the Professional Bodyboarding Global Tour from 2000-2006.

Ayako is licensed in Hawaii as a Realtor with a Broker’s License and holds other designations and certifications that include Certified Real Estate Brokerage Manager Designation, Real Estate Negotiation Expert Certification, Military Relocation Professional, Seniors Real Estate Specialist, Accredited Buyer’s Representative, Certified Distressed Property Expert, and Short Sale and Foreclosure Resource. Ayako is a 2018 graduate of the Hawaii Association of Realtors Leadership Academy and volunteers for Hawaii Realtors Standard Forms Committee and Honolulu Board of Realtors Shoreline Erosion/Sea Level Rise Task Group.
