Ohana Pacific Health (OPH), Hawaii’s largest post-acute care organization, recently announced the promotion of Bethany Lukens-Geiger to Vice President of Strategy.   

Lukens-Geiger has been with OPH since 2023 where she served as the Director of Kālele Care Services, a grassroots, community-led model which leverages Community Health Navigators (CHNs) or non-licensed, non-clinical wellness advocates along with licensed clinical staff to provide trusted resources for individuals in the community.  

Lukens-Geiger will continue to direct the Kālele Care Services program, with the added responsibility of piloting and collaborating on several key strategic initiatives for OPH with many key partners in healthcare.   

Prior to her transition out of direct clinical care, Lukens-Geiger practiced as a Physical Therapist in multiple pediatric and adult care settings for seven years and maintains an active Physical Therapy License in Hawaii. Her background encompasses roles in strategic and program development, project management, legislative advocacy, and analytics in various healthcare settings, population health models, and clinically integrated networks. She graduated with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Pacific University in 2013 and her Masters in Healthcare Business Administration from Oregon Health and Science University in 2020.
